English o english!

it has been 5 months and my progress in English conversation is still slow and didn't improve much.
its really a waste of time and government's money if i stay here for 4 years and i still speak like a person who is about to learn English.
And its really shameful indeed.
I'm staying with 3 other housemates who are from Canada, Australia and Germany.
They are really nice people and thanks goodness they are all friendly.
And they've been a lot of help to my English-speaking improvement.
I just need to buck up and do my own readings.
There's no much time left.
I hope by the end of this year i would be able to speak fluently. Only a few months left.
Clock is ticking.
I really need this.
I found it hard to socialize with others here especially the locals since i don't have good command in English.
We always have ideas and something to talk about but we always fail to effectively convey it to others.
Like in a basketball game, they are all nice and great people but I always have problem in getting along with 'em since I'm a bit slow to communicate and to join their chatter.
I always envy my friends who are able to speak good English. They could join any crowd they want. With so little struggle.
There's no time to regret of whatever now, its just time to keep my head up and start improving, bit by bit.
Pray for me.
I believe by the end of this year i could at least speak fluently.

appreciation

It has been about 5 months i'm here, living the life, studying at the University, enjoying the food, meeting new people of all backgrounds and nationalities, basketballing against all level of people at the public park almost every tuesday night, hanging out with Malaysians during the break, and the list goes on, all happening in the parameter of Sydney...

I can say that I'm grateful and i think i should be taking all these events as a bless and gifts from the Almighty. No matter whether it's good or bad, I just gonna take it and see it from the positive side. Well I'm not really a positive man before i met this 'tiny girl in a blue jersey'. ( haha sorry I'm not trying to praise u out of nothing, its something that i really feel ). Well I've never seen or met a girl this positive. Sometimes she talked about something that other people might see it as not good or something that shouldn't be proud of. But she would come out with some positive and pleasant reasonings that later i would see it as something that i should cherish too if i were in her position. And she always gave me support and help me wherever possible. Oh and i just want to let u know my little counselor, that now i'm getting along well with the fellas that i told you about before i got here. Credits to the counselling session that i had with you through the phone last time. hehe.

Well sorry for not updating my blog. I had exams before this and i was busy during the winter break, going out and other stuffs. I read your blog too, a lot of things happened to you eh? just wish u are always in good health.

well it's kicked-off already!

huh okay i give up.. haha. you won this round but next times are all gona be mine! hehe.. oh well i started this blog because of dis one little girl 'in a blue jersey' who 'encouraged' me (or in the other word 'indirectly threatened me'..haha) to start blogging to at least fill up my leisure time here in Sydney. and there's other reason as well that lead me to writing this. But i don't think i have leisure time anymore. it's week 7 now and every lecturer has started to happily shower us with assignments and project. oh and a string of tests as well.. yeah it couldn't get any better.. huh what else to write? I'm not really into blogging but I'll give it a try though, since i was made to do it.. huhu. okay i think thats all for now. gonna continue writing when i got to something interesting or at least in my oppinion is interesting. heheh..
